Dr. Anthony Fauci, the top adviser, and disease expert for the United States President Joe Biden’s administration, has refuted claims that NIAID funded labs in Wuhan for carrying out research on Coronavirus that eventually led to the pandemic origin.

Recently, US Senator Rand Paul accused the NIH of funding Chinese labs that were researching how to move viruses from animals into humans. He claimed that the ‘gain of function’ research is what led to the creation of the coronavirus pandemic. While appearing on the fact-check session on Poynter, Dr. Anthony Fauci refuted these claims by a US report that alleged the country’s involvement in Wuhan labs funding and called them preposterous. He further stated that nothing in the study is true.

The Republicans’ House Permanent Select Committee’s report on Intelligence suggested that the cause of the COVID-19 infection, the SARS-CoV-2 virus, was manufactured in a lab in Wuhan, China. This was against the claims of natural occurrence. The Republic Media Network accessed the 21-page unclassified report and spoke in detail about the dangerous experiments that were conducted at WIV – Wuhan Institute of Virology since 2016.

The report also stated that US envoys in China relayed the warnings regarding these experiments. Furthermore, the report questioned the role played by the NIAID headed by Dr. Anthony Fauci, who allegedly funded labs that were carrying out research on Coronaviruses.

This committee has also been examining the threats posed by the Chinese PLA and the CCP to America. It accuses the Chinese authorities of not conducting the investigation regarding COVID-19 origin properly.
