The 2021 edition of Rolling Loud Miami was set to be a killer affair with headlining acts from the likes of Post Malone, Travis Scott, and A$AP Rocky. Young Thug and Megan Thee Stallion were also part of the event. However, what really made fans sit up and take notice of the 2021 edition of Rolling Loud were rumors that Kanye West was supposed to be a part of the proceedings as well.

What made the rumors swirl was an Instagram post from Consequence – a name known for collaborating with Kanye West on multiple occasions. According to the post, West would perform songs from his latest album, ‘DONDA,’ for his fans on 25th July. The post also featured a sketch, which was probably how West’s stage would have looked at the event.

So, did it happen?

The 2021 Rolling Loud edition went ahead as planned. However, Kanye West was nowhere to be seen. So, was it just a rumor that he would be performing at the event, or was there something more to it?

The truth is Kanye West was indeed planning to hit the stage on 25th July at 2021 Rolling Loud Miami to promote his latest album. However, his move to push back the release of his album was followed by the announcement that he had canceled his scheduled appearance at Rolling Loud.

Undoubtedly, this must have come as a shock for hardcore Kanye West fans who were looking forward to seeing the rapper live again after a long time. It’s also unclear as to when exactly the rapper’s latest album will finally be released.
