Ever since the Wolverine’s death in the 2017 box-office hit Logan, there have been rumors going around about the actor who might be portraying the character in future movies. Even though Hugh Jackman announced that he will be hanging up the claws after Logan, it is possible that we might not be done seeing the short-tempered Canadian played by the beloved actor. He just shared a picture with Kevin Feige, the man responsible for the creation of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, along with fan art.

In an Instagram story, Jackman reposted a story by @bosslogic who had posted a fanart of Wolverine’s claws. This was followed by a photo of the actor and Kevin Feige. Since there were two Marvel-related posts, fans are speculating that Jackman might be in talks with Disney about future X-Men movies. In another story, he paid tribute to Richard Donner, director of Superman in 1978, who passed away recently.

Hugh Jackman has been playing the character of Wolverine for almost two decades. In fact, it was because of a conversation he had with Jerry Seinfeld that encouraged him to give up on the character and step down. Many fans felt that the movie Logan was the perfect end to Jackman’s version of the character.

The first X-men movie was released in 2000. In fact, it can’t be denied that the movie popularized the superhero genre and paved the way for future superhero movies. Two years later, the Spider-Man movie was released. This was followed by other Marvel characters like Ghost Rider, Hulk, and Daredevil having their own movies. However, there is no confirmation on whether Hugh Jackman will be playing Wolverine in future MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) movies.
